I want to continue this line of thought. So Subs Rig for Red when they surface at NIGHT not when surfacing during daylight. Is there a specific reason a sub commander would choose to surface at night vs day? We all know we are still in the darkness/night but dayLIGHT is coming. Why does a sub surface at night instead of waiting until day?
Quoting: Darkman to surprise your enemy? Quoting: Bird Shadow Deisel subs, many reasons. Fresh air supply, off gassing, run engine to recharge batteries, etc. Nuclear powered sub... comms Communications Radio signals don’t travel well deep underwater, particularly at the depths at which submarines usually operate during a mission. Therefore, both nuclear and diesel submarines must resurface in order to communicate with their home base, and receive orders and/or convey vital information.
Quoting: JackFiddler I believe all our subs are nuclear so the reason to Rig for Red is comms. Big comms coming? Quoting: Darkman Nice! ...The IG report(s) will be big... They should provide the grounds for DOJ/FBI house cleaning. Dark to Light
