Is it even legal for liddle to testify?
It is stated that under Roman law no man was admissible as a witness unless his testicles were present as evidence or ‘witnesses’ of one’s virility because only verified men were allowed to give a witness, or to testify, in legal matters.

And since the Empire Never Died...and the Constitution died in the late 1800's and no one knows wtf is going on anyhow...'we' may still be under Roman Law...so your assessment may be correct about testifying. And that's where the word "Testify" comes from. I'd forgotten that until this post. CAN I GET A WITNESS... it's becoming more and more problematic in this day and age. lol
