For the first time in US history, a decade will pass without the country falling into a recession

Joseph Zeballos-Roig 2 minutes ago

-In every decade since the period immediately before the Civil War, the US economy could be relied on to do one thing: tumble into recession.

-But the American economy is on pace to defy that trend for the first time in nearly 170 years as it enters the 2020s.

-The 2010s would be first time a decade has come and gone without the nation falling into recession, which is commonly defined as two consecutive quarters of contracting gross domestic product.

-Economists told Business Insider some supporting factors include the extremely slow recovery and people continuously looking for work.

A decade is ten years and we were in a recession most of Obama's years, actually, it was more of a depression, somehow unnoticed by some, the ones who were helped, and the ones who had jobs and kept them. The world economic world group put out the full report. I read it, this recession came during problem times under Bush and the Bush one came after Clinton sold the US out to other places, pushing NAFTA.

Until Trump got to work on fixing the economy more and more people were becoming homeless since NAFTA. They tried to hide the homeless in Phillidepia during Bush's republican dinner or whatever dinner, they were dinning high and full as people were in the streets because Clinton pushed NAFTA. Just encase people don't understand where the Homeless in America started it was way back under Clinton presidency.

During Clinton's time also they shot the housing cost threw the roof while the people lost jobs, they couldn't pay rent or afford a home. People seem to think if they are doing fine everyone is, just as it was in the Great Depression only 25% lost everything and their home, others had jobs and food to put in their mouths.

Until we get a money system that does not have inflation or deflation this well continues also throw the leaches out of power and shut down think tanks and little groups like the CFR who been running things. They have been the ones that push bills and tell the state department what the aim is. They should be arrested.

What do you call three quarters or more of a recession?
What do you call a decade of recession?
We just lived through the 'O'pressive depression
