quick ot
Drs prescribed steroid lotion(which destroys soft tissue apparently) for my newly formed eczema). a higher up dr friend suggested it is actually caused by deficiency in vit b's and to eat LIVER. ick, but i bought the best quality, happy lil chicken livers i could and I also scrub affected skin with pink Himalayan salt pumice stone and eat foods high in Bs. It is helping. I admit I had a shitty diet for last 2 yrs.
Odin....have you had you vitamin b checked?
:rosebud:
Quoting: Heavy Metal Machine Yes. Weakens the skin. So prolonged use (more than a week) is not recommended. But they told me I'd have to be on it for the rest of my life. Stupid doctors, hahaha.
Put me on cortisol steroid tablets as well as a steroidal lotion. Horrible stuff. Only on it for a few months before I stopped taking it. My nails pit as well, they wanted me to go in for weekly steroid injections (on EACH nail). I was like, no way, that's a bloody thick needle you idiot!! Oh, and steroids, lol!!
Not sure. Never checked. I probably am VitB deficient.
After starting meat only diet, I ate lots of liver and it helped.
Tip, soak the liver in milk overnight before cooking. Takes away that bloody and iron taste and starts the breakdown of the cellular structure, making it softer with an easier texture. Garlic does much to mask it too.
Mind you, I ate Lamb liver. Highest Iron, Zinc and VitB content.
I was in town on Tuesday, ran into a lady who does massages and natural healing. We spoke about diet and she convinced me to give a grains and fruit diet a chance, lol. So I'm fasting now and will start new diet in 2 days.
Quite interested in seeing the results after 2 months.
