I was fully convinced of this too, right up until the pandemic and the unleashing of open fascism that resulted, on Trump's watch. Now I'm not so sure things could even be worse anymore.

We could of course have WW3 with nukes flying, but who's to say that's not coming soon too at the rate things are going...

I mean, we wanted to defend liberty, that's what this was all about. And now liberty has already been taken away from us, without a single shot fired. How could it possibly be worse?

Help me out here, I lack the imagination to see what even worse fate we might have been saved from by going through this.
