BREAKING: Multiple People Shot After Man With Rifle Hijacks Occupied Bus In Texas

ROWLETT, Texas — A man armed with a rifle hijacked an occupied bus in the city of Rowlett Sunday afternoon.

Around 11:00 a.m. local time, the gunman boarded the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) bus and fired multiple rounds, shattering windows. The suspect demanded the driver of the bus flee and they led cops on a chase through Garland and Rowlett.

The chase ended on President George Bush turnpike where the suspect exchanged gunfire with police. At least two officers and the suspect were shot–conditions unknown.
