There is a history of Mary Magdalene she was said to have worked with healing the sick in some middle eastern country.

I don't remember which one, only that they stayed in caves I believe, she never married after his return and ascending to God. They also said she did this and died doing this, and was buried somewhere in that country. I would think some of the others may have been somewhere around them maybe Mary the mother of Jesus, and then given as mother to John. I know she was also buried in one of the countries. I would say it was not in Israel or Judah. There were caves in different areas that the followers lived in, so that would be the only thing I remember about what I read while researching it. Now, Mary, Martha, and their brother may have gone on to spread the gospel. They were very close to Jesus, most people forget them.
