I think the last updated: 10/14 just got overwritten by 10/16 (glad I pulled 10/14) Ok - I know math is boring, but to me - excess deaths (or lack thereof), is one of the best cases against lumping non-covid deaths with covid. because it's FAKE! I was having trouble finding reliable data being reported until Q posted the numbers for 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 through september 26th from cdc. Then averages next 3 months. His data in the link was last updated on 10/7. well - the 2017-2019 numbers he posted are spot on for "all causes of death" on those datasets. That post was more important to me than to most, apparently. Haven't seen anyone really talking about it. Problem is that by the time that I clicked his link, that dataset had been updated by 7 days.(last updated 10/14) The numbers even through 9/26 weren't adding up for me - in fact, they are 260K OFF from what Q posted... Basically, the amount missing that he claims (there should be 260+ more deaths through end of 2020 if ALL covid deaths are legit) - and my 7 day newer dataset says there actually are 260k+ more deaths, in spite of Q's math. Giving Q the benefit of the doubt on his 2,130,000 number through 9/26 (and assuming he sums "all causes of death" - just like in the prev years which match his numbers) - I start thinking, they must have updated the previous month's numbers - back-filled that 260k between 10/7-10/14. Then, I finally found a set which is a week older than Q's set, and I am still not getting to that 2,130,000 cdc 2020 number. I do see where, between 10/1 and 10/7 annual numbers, that in the same period: Jan - 9/26, there are an additional 32k deaths (late reporting from states for about the previous 8 weeks) Maybe I'm doing something wrong... but have turned the numbers every which way, and I get: 2,390,243 vs. Q's: 2,130,000 That's 260k deaths different. His point was that we are on target for almost the exact number of deaths that we've had since 2017 (about 2.8 mil) However, I'm getting 3,080,000 which is about 279k more deaths in 2020 than the previous 3 years (after averaging oct-dec - as he also does) Can someone please prove me wrong? I've got to be doing something wrong. I can't rule-out that because there are the added numbers (columns) for covid, that he excluded those - but those shouldn't be duplicated within the "all causes" column I'm using. I also can't rule out that the 'all causes' from the states are accurate - but I wanted to at least validate Q's assessment for 2020. I can't.
