Quoting: bobobibi From what I always understood the CIA controls the media, most of the newspapers. Why do you think their assets and agents who had to leave the agency went to media for their work? Just to think part of the control is in Chicago, at least it was way back in around 1930s maybe before. Naval intelligence. Yes. Operation Mockingbird under the CIA. But they just inherited Command. Chicago. 1930s. Height of Al Capone's reign as Don of Chicago was early 30s. Control of the Media, is of course much older than all of this. After Napoleon was defeated, the UK newspapers spread the word that he had won, causing the stock markets to collapse and "someone" bought everything for pennies on the dollar (or sterling, as it were). Same old, tired playbook.
