Interesting dig on TELESTAR the name on soccer ball Putin gave to Trump. I think he was handing him some kind of satellite communications info.

Telstar is the name of various communications satellites. I believe it’s NROL 19 specifically because it’s badge is a squid and it’s purposes are highly classified. NROL 39 is also a squid but is just used for radar.

In 2003, Telstars Loral Skynet's North American fleet—were sold to Intelsat.

Intelsat Americas, was the re-designation given to the several Telstar satellites serving North America following their sale to Intelsat by Loral Space & Communications in 2003.

The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is a member of the United States Intelligence Community and an agency of the United States Department of Defense. NRO is considered, along with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), National Security Agency (NSA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), to be one of the "big five" U.S. intelligence agencies.

This is a list of NRO Launch (NROL) designations, i.e. satellites operated by the United States National Reconnaissance Office. Those missions are generally classified, so that their exact purposes and orbital elements are not published. However, amateur astronomers have managed to observe most of the satellites, and leaked information has led to the identification of many of the payloads.

NROL 19 specifically is part of Electronic signals intelligence (ELINT). It refers to intelligence-gathering by use of electronic sensors. Its primary focus lies on non-communications signals intelligence.

ELINT data are usually highly classified, and are protected as such.
NROL is for radar imaging.
