About a week ago my sister Quilts got a medicare statement for our mother. She passed away in late January. The statement showed CVS Pharmacy billed medicare for a COVID vaccination about 10 days before she died, even though we were on record that we did not want her to get it! She was no longer capable of making any decisions, and the assisted living facility was fully aware of our decision.

Mom was in hospice care at the time, so giving her the vaccination served no purpose other than someone making some money.

We are now wondering if assisted living or nursing homes get any money from the government for each resident vaccinated? Or is it if they can show that 100% of their residents are vaccinated? Is there anyone here who works in the industry who can answer these questions?
