Update: so yesterday we had a meeting to determine my mum's future and it was decided she stay where she is because her condition hasn't improved.
She was part of the meeting, at my request, and after all 3 scenario pros and cons were presented, she was asked what her thoughts were and she said that while she wanted to go home, she knows that she has problems and that in 5 years time they may be much worse and what would happen then, so she said she was happy to stay there and they are happy to take her.
Huge weight off my shoulders that she is able to understand the situation and be ok with it, (even if she might not remember tomorrow).

There is more to dehydration than just water, the need for something like Electrolyte solution is required, I think you can make it with clear jello, not positive, I use child powder type. You can buy the liquid Child electrolyte, as you age the child type is closer to our bodies. This is why we have to be careful, it not totally child because we don't have their extra growth hormones, of course that true for any adult. Wow! Hankie I just bought 2 boxes child electrolyte because it was 2.75 down from $12. I've been drinking it and it my body feels really good right after.
