Since we have been told that the kingdom of God is within, wouldnt it stand to reason we should be responsible for the manifestations we desire as opposed to expecting God to carry the load? We need to pray, it is cause and effect. If we want something to happen, our prayers set it in motion, and usually it happens, depending on God's will.

I agree again, my point is, I do not think any one of us is so tuned that our prayers would affect the whole world. Even if everyone in this thread were to pray the exact same prayer, I am unsure that it would make a difference. Currently, the vast majority of people are so completely tuned in to the adversary via music, tv, video games that focus on death and terrible things, how could we possibly over come this short of a counter movement?

Which honestly is why I would want to do a consciousness experiment. One that would not just stop at proving our thoughts (prayers) affect/create reality, but one that might continue to prove itself and attract like minded individuals as the experiments continue to grow. If we prove that we have power to affect change, not through violence but through love and compassion, what might be possible?
