First safety tip with a hunting gun, never have it loaded and not put the safety locked on the gun, better is not to have it loaded in the car or before you start hunting, don't aim a loaded rifle at your feet, that will get your feet or toes blown off, a guy did this after my dad told him not to do it, blew he toes off going over a fence, put it right on his toes, dumb. Dad was very upset with him even though he blew his toes off, mostly it because he didn't listen and blew his toes off. He never took a person who as green at hunting again.
