Bicycle with no rider crashes in Tesla Car causing $6000 damage

omg, these mofo bikes are everywhere now.. i even saw one up a tree!

did it climb the tree by itself??? maybe the information was wrong and its not skynet people should be worried about... its BIKENET!!!!!!!

That is not an act of god..that is a liable company who failed to secure their bikes in high winds.

but since when can bicycles travel around by themselves with no rider? that's impossible isn't it? they fall over!

If they were already standing up in a rack and high wind hit them, I could see it.

I think the remarkable aspect of the Bible is that there passages in which I see the writer having the short of experience that I myself feel.

Say you are reading the Gospels, and the parable of the prodigal son. Throughout my long life I can identify with the prodigal son when I have grievously sinned. Or I can be outraged by mercy that is unfair as the older brother. Or I can feel inspired as the disciples might have felt at hearing the wisdom of Jesus' words. Or I can be so moved by compassion as to actually embrace someone who is unloved and despised but who is repentant.

We all can feel sadden by our situation when we feel personally forgotten, yet is that ever the case? No. It's a momentary thought that flickers across our consciousness and while our feelings are genuine, they are not necessary true.

The mark of a mature godly man is to not act impetuously, but be measured, slow to anger, quick to find some aspect where there is beauty, or to love those around us that God has appointed us to serve, rather than to criticize.

After all, a mature man tries to fix his own errors first before trying to repair flaws in others.

Once I read a story about a man who was praying to God. He was angry and upset and selfish. He was not really praying so much, but complaining.

God told him, with all strength of restraint, and in the most considerate way, even tenderly that, "When you are like this, I wish you would sing a song instead."

That works for me. When I feel a situation is hopeless, or tragic, or impossible because of Satanic malevolence, that either joining in and singing with the truly saintly and faithful...heals the broken soul.

Or do it at home by watching a video.

Or sing to YHWH in a forest while letting the night air and sounds wash over you.

Someone needs to investigate how $1,500 of damage costs $6000.00 to repair.
