It's a great dive bar. They may just come around - who knows? Cider tends to bridge the gap for beer and wine drinkers.

You may want to consider bypassing Amerika's bureaucratic nonsense, mostly implemented by the big established players against competition, and make your product offshore, and merely import it.

I am almost certain that it's easier to get licensed as an importer than a producer, especially considering the multi-layer gubermental hoops you have to jump through here in Amerika.

Of course, you'll have to deal with protectionist legislation and tariff taxation of imported goods. But at least you'll get up and running faster.

Started a Brewery in December 2012. Opened February 2014. New production facility and taproom opened July 2014. Second location opened July 2016.

The paperwork may be daunting and ridiculously time consuming but it’s inexpensive and easy to do.

Good luck!

It truly boggles the mind. It gets better. If you use only apples, pears, herbs and spices then you are a true Cider producer at the lowest tax rate. If you add any other fruit juices for flavoring you fall under wine at a higher tax rate. If you carbonate said fruit wine, you hit the "champagne" tax rate that is really high.
