Their rebranding as "social media" is the most successful deception since the Department of War became the Department of Defense. [link to twitter.com (secure)] LoneStarRising |

[link to twitter.com (secure)] That's he's clue that the DoD got FB off the ground buying FB data. Or you could say DoD told FB who to spy on for DoD for $. |

Wondering Mind

Spying to copy their ideas and claim them or to counter them. The opposition could do that by initiating and stirring up in their supporters what is a controversy unto their opponent. Knowing their opponent could not cast down their gauntlet being seen as flip flopping in the middle of their campaign, even before the election takes place. Spanning their friends or connections they gathered to sway them over to their opponent by ads to stir them up over. The most precious things are the simple things in life, always present in the simplest of minds. |

I remember there was a poster back in 2005/2006 who claimed to be a FB insider and he said they were contacted by the ABCs to track everyone down to the last detail, including those who don't use FB by using aggressive cookies that can't be removed once inside your system. He warned that FB would also sell your data to ANY 3rd party willing to pay for it and that some very dangerous organizations using the cover as advertising agencies were buying your data.... this is why I still come to GLP. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75119085 I have never been on FB and never will. LoneStarRising |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75119085 I have never been on FB and never will. I did because it was required in college, socially and academically. I ended up entering all fake info, changed my profile picture to a photoshopped one and then "closed" my account. With that said, I already knew back then what they were doing so I managed to block every cookie and service they provided. |

Everything you do on the internet can be tracked and used. Only idiots think "nah...they wouldn't do that". |

That seems insanely high. LoneStarRising |
