Standing with several children and their parents in Columbus Circle a day after thousands participated in the March for Our Lives rally, Schumer said he wants a vote on three measures. They include closing loopholes in federal background checks, creating a system to issue protective orders against potentially dangerous individuals and banning assault weapons.


On March 23, Trump tweeted that the U.S. Department of Justice would issue a rule banning bump stocks — a device that can turn a semi-automatic weapon into an automatic weapon.

Schumer described this proposal as a “necessary, but hardly sufficient” step.

Young constituents agreed that further gun control measures are needed.

A perspective from a Brit (that knows more about American politics than any democrat) so I’ll chime in.

1 - They have no idea about guns.

2 - Unless they say openly “We want to remove the 2nd Amendment completely”, they are lying. To themselves and to you. That is all they care about.

3 - Democrats currently are the most easily pliable people with propaganda and regularly spout word for word MSM narratives that they can’t fulfil when challenged

4 - They believe the ends justify the means so by virtue, see no problem with lying, cheating or anything else to get the guns as they’re ideological and not rational.

5 - if America ever gives up the guns it would end the west. They wouldnt stop there, they never stop....they’re like that little girl from The Ring.... if tthey ever get them they would then censor free speech with “hate speech” taglines, stop protest and literally anything else that fits the “ends justify the means” paradigm they exist within. You’d become more like Britain or worse, we would all descend worse than Britain is now.... where your rights are given to you with a flick of a pen and can Ben taken away just as easily instead of being born with these rights.

6 - How long can you hold out? They would hoax or false flag you weekly if it helps convince you. Seriously they don’t see it as an issue as they think they’re the good guys and you will be demonised the world over (because trust me, BBC and their ilk will paint you all as evil doers as well, they are already to be fair,,, then put into on repeat for months). Never understood the whole guns and “cold dead hands” thing when I was young and living in Britain. I fucking do now.
