Nickelodeon cuts ties with Dan Schneider, producer of 'Henry Danger,' 'iCarly'

Dan Schneider, the television producer behind many of Nickelodeon's most iconic and enduring programs, will no longer work with the network.

“Following many conversations together about next directions and future opportunities, Nickelodeon and our long-time creative partner Dan Schneider/Schneider’s Bakery have agreed to not extend the current deal,” a Nickelodeon spokesperson told USA TODAY in a statement. “Since several Schneider’s Bakery projects are wrapping up, both sides agreed that this is a natural time for Nickelodeon and Schneider’s Bakery to pursue other opportunities and projects."

Schneider's Nickelodeon credits include All That, iCarly, Drake & Josh, The Amanda Show, Zoey 101, Victorious, Kenan & Kel, Sam & Cat and the network's current No. 1 show Henry Danger. These shows have helped launch the careers of stars including Ariana Grande, Amanda Bynes, Kenan Thompson, Victoria Justice, Miranda Cosgrove and others.
