Anonymous Coward User ID: 42438249 Belgium 04/01/2018 04:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I wish someone had told me this secret decades ago, so here goes: Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74859192 Some people have the bad luck of getting nasty bacteria living in their mouths, and then they get a chronic infection going that slowly eats the gums until teeth drop out, while giving you bad breath and affecting your overall health negatively. This condition actually leads to heart attacks, it's that bad! Flossing is necessary to keep things from deteriorating too quickly, but it doesn't solve the problem. My case was really bad. I had to have roots of my teeth cleaned during surgery where they cut open the flesh to reach the infested zone. My dentist wanted to just pull it all and be done with it, but I convinced him to give me one last chance to turn things around. And then I flossed religiously for years, keeping the situation relatively stable if I also had my teeth professionally scraped twice a year, but I never managed to get rid of the rotten smell of decay emanating from the still infected root areas. It was a depressing condition, because no-one wants to have breath that smells like shit. But then I came up with a novel idea (I've never heard of anyone else doing this): I started rinsing my mouth with a diluted solution of Chlorine Dioxide once a day! Chlorine Dioxide is a chemical used to clean "biofilm" (a layer of filth providing breeding ground for bacteria) from water tanks, and it is also sold as an additive to make water you find in nature drinkable. It contains very aggressive almost chemically free oxygen that attacks and destroys all bacteria, while being perfectly harmless to body cells because they have a different cell membrane. Bacteria can't even develop resistance to this, because their membrane gets ripped to pieces, and they can't exactly evolve into higher cells in a fortnight! And it is perfectly safe to consume chlorine dioxide in rather large quantities, much higher than what I naturally swallow from rinsing with the stuff. As a result of doing this, my mouth is now squeaky clean. You know that super-clean feeling your teeth have after you've been at the dentist? I have this feeling all the time. And my breath is fresh and sweet as a newborn baby's! To do this, buy Chlorine Dioxied solution and dilute it to about 50 ppm, then take a very small amount of it (just enough to be able to slosh it around in your mouth) and rinse for a couple of minutes. Your bad breath and chronic infection will be gone. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 74859192 Sweden 04/01/2018 04:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I started rinsing my mouth with a diluted solution of Chlorine Dioxide once a day! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74859192 I prefer to use bleach but to each his own Don't do this!!!!!!! Bleach is horrible!!! Chlorine (Cl2) is a very dangerous chemical!!! Chlorine dioxide (ClO2) is not, however. Chlorine (Cl2) attacks everything (body cells included) with aggressive chlorine atoms and forms poisonous chlorine compounds in the process. Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2) is safe, and falls apart into harmless Chlorine ions (same as in table salt!) and free oxygen. The oxygen only attacks bacteria, not body cells, and it produces no harmful waste products. The small amount of Chlorine ions attack nothing, they just join the vast amount of Chlorine ions that are already present in every living organism. Chlorine gas = deadly poison, Chlorine ions = 100 % harmless. My advice is PERFECTLY SAFE. The fact Chlorine Dioxide is sold as an additive to drinking water to kill bacteria should tell you that drinking it is harmless, and I'm not even telling you to drink it, just rinse and spit it out! But hey, keep your rotting teeth if you want to, I just wanted to share my secret to those who are desperate to find a solution. |

Do you think your solution is a better one op? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54028161 Yes. As stated, I had such a nasty case of chronic "bad teeth" my dentist literally saw no hope for them and just wanted to pull. And I do trust my dentist, he's a real professional who knows his stuff. Nothing will help when things have deteriorated beyond a certain point, nothing except KILLING the nasty bacteria faster than they can reproduce and keep them from recolonizing. And that's a tall order! No natural oil extract will kill bacteria this effectively, but Chlorine Dioxide will. It's a real miracle to me - it made me feel good about myself again for the first time in many years! As stated, this stuff rips biofilm off the inside of filthy water tanks and makes them squeaky clean in minutes. It does it by ripping bacteria and the sludge they live in to shreds. It works exactly the same in your mouth. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 9831451 United States 04/01/2018 05:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | For all of you tards. there is no such thing as chlorine dioxide except as an ion attached to something like sodium, potassium, etc. it's like calling salt, 'chloride'. It is sodium chloride! ok. for your education , here is what the OP is talking about. cut and past of the ingredients for the 'chlorine dioxide' mouthwash. DioxiRinse™ Mouthwash - Water, sodium chlorite, trisodium phosphate, sodium carbonate, poloxamer 407, calcium lactate, citric acid, saccharin, glutaral, lactic acid, mentha piperita, cinnamal, phosphoric acid, polysorbate 20, glycerin, alcohol, menthol FD&C Red #33, FD&C Blue #1. Mixture contains: DioxiCare (ACTIVE chlorine dioxide) sodium chlorite is much more powerful and toxic than sodium hypochlorite (BLEACH). The mouthwash mfr likely only puts in a tenth of one percent sodium chlorite in the solution! same goes for bleach. USE A HIGH DILUTION WITH WATER! get educated before doing anything with either sodium chlorite and bleach. for most people, just buy the manufactured mouthwash stuff because they will have it diluted enough to be safe if you follow instructions. |
