That can never happen. Do you honestly believe that anyone wants to invest billions of dollars in steel mills that produce steel that is so expensive that it could never be exported anywhere? How long will that take? America isn't that kind of economy anyway, and hasn't been for 60 years. And you are OK with the cost of that steel causing everything from washing machines to cars to rise in price?

Meanwhile, we lose exports on 128 items that the Chinese tariff, including agricultural and pork which will hurt family farms and cause layoffs for other products if they can't find a market.

And don't forget...the EU hasn't fired back...yet.

I remember having this same conversation about domestic energy.

The same hyperbole.

Stocks were traded with no consideration as to actual value or ability to produce profit.

They are guarding all the doors and they are holding all the keys. The care not about the impact on the people, the care about power and control. The head of the swap.... Trump wasn't wise explains why the economy shot up because he was elected as he also left himself open to blame.

Blame is important. Cause something and point as many fingers in a direction you as possible to demonise then create a desired result. Until the FED is dealt with, or at least people wake up to the economics and control it has, then debt slavery booms and bust cycles on the whim of a small group of very powerful men will continue depressing the people in to poverty.

The fools will likely blame Trump and follow the herd in to debt slavery (and he certainly didn't help himself) but the wise will know who and why such problems are being manufactured but because the fools outnumber the wise, it won't ever change.

Trump may be the only president ever to go against the FED in your lifetime (if he does) and with your help and blind allegiance to the current system, you would gladly swat him away because of a manufactured and propagated outrage based on nonsense and feelings.

I restructured my purchasing plans for the year and halted all planned hiring. With the dems at the helm of the house, I expect my costs to rise. liberals are awful for small business climate.

It really started tumbling after bidnesses realized the demoncrats were taking back congress and would be hampering the president for the next two years!!!

Exactly, my small business reeled in after the mid term, I don’t like what is coming down the road with democrats in charge of the house. We had to put up with their lunatic antics for two years when they weren’t in power, everything is going to grind to a halt or retract with the upcoming epic shit show.

If you are in the business of selling guns you may see an uptick though.

Markets went up because the people on the streets and the non rent seeking business environment seemed to be in a positive mood. Trumps stated agenda IS good for the country. I won’t deny that the RINOs in congress were utter disappointments, but as bad as they did their job the last two years, the markets were gaining until the specter of democrats running the house kicked in along with their incessisant non stop 25/8 hate fest, lies, and misrepresentations.

Spending all day talking about how you will unseat a duly elected president for no reason does not create a rich and flourishing economic environment. Businesses want political stability, not the horse shit you morons are causing.
