He said Cambridge Analytical sold the information they got to a few other companies. CA got some of their information from a FB users taking some sort of survey. That allowed CA your data and your friends data. This is screwed up.

Can ya'll understand what he's saying? He keeps repeating himself over and over. I was a software tester for a collaborative software product. All of the data was contained on our own servers. It was internal - and safe, and confidential. Our clients were government agencies, Healthcare companies, US forest service - etc. Facebook is NOT safe - despite all the "tools" the Zuk keeps repeating over and over. If you post anything public, its up for grabs. The FB application is very very simple, and any programmer/developer in their right mind would never ever attempt to do his 'sharing' "business model." Engineers and programmers I worked with - said FB would eventually go up in flames - it just took longer than I thought. Now is the time for class action law suits.

Trump won in part because anyone could tell what people were thinking about - by reading their posts - and all the Trump supporters ran to the polls! Trump supporters didn't tell friends and family (who they were going to vote for), because they were attacked, flagged, and silenced. Trump won in part, because liberals are more emboldened by their hatred of Trump, and advertised (stupidly) their "opinions." it is mathematically impossible to flag, track, and monitor so called 'hate' speech. I was accused of racism because I liked Trump. That's it - and (like Diamond and Silk) I was censored and demonized.

Finally, FB is ageist, and us old time programmers and testers aren't allowed to offer basic common sense. If they hired a few of us - we would have offered insight that might have prevented this from happening, but we don't move fast and break things. Zuk is way too cocky and sure of himself. He's not showing enough remorse - this will not end well for him . This is why he is selling millions of his FB shares. Saundburg is leaning out, and selling her shares too.

Zuk is Millinial, and is always bragging how young is smart. Gen Z is actually more conservative, and hard working. They aren't interested in FB - so his audience is the dull misinformed old people that he hates so much, and profits off of.

I'm an old guy and am only on FB because some groups I'm in meet there. Considering whether to cut the cord. Actually I've always been careful not to put much up there. Not even a picture.

I wish some senator had asked him why Diamond and Silk were judged "unsafe to their community". Tomorrow he's in the House, maybe a congressman will ask -- but I won't hold my breath waiting.

Exactly! Your data is always in the pipeline or the stored data! My son had a "hacker" put a page up, family all thought it was him, believe me, it was not!!!!

He then tried to delete his "real" account because he was sick of FB....It kept coming back. He got his account back then again deleted it (although his family could still pull up everything)..He needed to get back into his page b/c he was needing the info for divorce...They had him send his picture, drivers license and whatever they demanded. He had to do this 4 or 5 times so he could get his account reactivated. Guess what?? Didn't work but they sure got all his info. Had it not been for info he needed out of the account it would not of been done. He has not to this day gotten the info he needs. No access to his real account.

DELETE FB! I Will be doing it asap! AS soon as this divorce is over! I'm stuck and so is he!
