This poor man is not living, his brain damage is severe and it's a fluke that his body functions still work on their own. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12133715 Well, his family do NOT agree, nor has the man himself been consulted. He breathes unassisted, and his organs function. He may improve with time, as the brain can repair itself to a degree. This would be on a par of murdering a baby (can't speak for themselves, and need to be fed.) |

Like a while back the parents of a little boy with brain cancer were told the hospital wouldn't treat him any more, but wouldn't let them remove him. When they did they were hunted by the police, but they got treatment abroad (Czechs I think) and now the child's improved so much he can ride a bike and is almost back to normal. If the hospital had got their way he'd be dead. |

When you collect welfare, are they concerned about your mental well being? This man is on welfare, his mental state is of no concern to the state. He's a quadriplegic and therefore needs someone to take care of him, another burden of the state because he is disabled. Last Edited by BRIEF on 04/12/2018 08:26 AM I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |

If it were me in that condition, I would not want to be a burden to the health-care system or family. "Loved ones" are not the best judge in these circumstances, unless it is their own resources involved. After the best has been done, sometimes nature should be let run it's course. 10 years keeping someone alive, just for the sake of it is bullshit, when others with much better prospects are going to be denied resources. Just because we can, doesn't mean we must. |

Funny how the unborn and brown people's lives count for so little by comparison. This world has very f***ed up attitudes to life and acceptable values. Especially the obvious mass extinction event that is clearly just around the corner. Doubling of the human population in 60 years, this can only go on for so long... When that growth stops, all hell breaks loose. |
