Better to have 5 REAL friends, than 100 acquaintances or 500 FB "friends".

My self-worth isn't tied up in popularity. Consequently I am self-driven toward goals of my own choosing, rather than perpetually distracted by what other people like or think is important. Their approval isn't relevant to me achieving what I want and need in this life.

When I do choose someone as a real friend, that bond is deep and unbreakable unless they choose to break it.
