A Capricorn E/INTJ Gen-X Man here.
Can confirm that our stereotype, at least for me, is dead on.
A little clarification though; I think labeling us as "Workaholics" may be somewhat inarticulate. We don't love working just for the sake of working.

What we do is tend to get intensely focused on what interests us. We want a breadth-and-depth mastery of whatever the interest is and we work to achieve that. Now, that may or may not align with our work. It may be a hobby. When our interest does align with work, absolutely, we are "workaholics".

But we can't always get to do what we love. When our work does not particularly align with our interests, man we want nothing to do with it. We just want it done and over with so we can get back to what interests us. But we won't half-ass things and fail to deliver quality, so we just heads down grind it out. Its times like these we may come across as miserable assholes. LOL.

We tend to be reciprocal in most things.
As far as loyalty goes... 100% unwavering, fierce loyalty. But we also expect the same from others and are often disappointed.
We respect ourselves so we respect others and get really pissed off when disrespected.

That's me anyway. Who knows, perhaps I'm wrong and this is just my ego projecting. cool2

I'm a capricorn....as a Christian, I don't delve into astrology much. However, what folks are saying about capricorns in this thread are spot on. Especially your post.

I began to work at age 8 (in the summers), moved to working part time year round at 16, then fulltime as an adult. I only took off 6 weeks when I had my son. I don't like to work for work's sake, but like the stability of having an income that I am bringing in myself.

When I work at what I love, I am happy. If tasked to do what I don't like, I am miserable, but still give 110% to the job.

I do give complete loyalty and love to a VERY FEW people, and yes I expect that back from those people. When one of them disappoints me, say by betrayal, it hurts deeply since my love/affection was given to them.....once my complete love for them is broken by them, it is never the same again.

My husband is a perfect match for me. He was born Oct 11. I have no idea what sign he is. I always thought our good match was due to me being a 1st born, and him a middle child.
