I was born in the United States but like a 100 million other people if I had to show my original birth certificate to prove it I would be shit out of luck. A duplicate birth certificate is created by the state that issued it using a copy and paste technique over a standardized modernized template. They don't give you their original, they take the information from it and graft i onto a template. Otherwise it would be impossible to get the signatures and original entries as they appeared on it.

So no, technically the birth certificate Obama had wasn't "real" in the sense that it was not the original as issued.

I am a believer he was not born in america, but this is not good evidence of that. However hearing it from his own brother is great evidence. He should be interviewed by a court before something happens to him to get it on record.
