We could do a lot, but we aren't involved in Syria's civil war, so really not much for now.

We are there to contain ISIS and eliminate them, not bring down Assad and go to war with Russia, if that was the case the Russian jamming would no longer be an issue.

Never was, the use of chemical weapons in the last two strikes against him by the USA were a response to that crime only.

Actually it's more like 'deactivating' an asset.. mercenaries don't really die, they get re-assigned. Operations like ISIS aren't really defeated.. they get re-branded, re-supplied & redeployed as a newer badder version of themselves.
