Actually he died because his dad had defective DNA which meant his son had a skull mainly ful of liquid and mush amd incapabke of long term life support.


But yes you are correct the father either through desperation or some misplaced imtent does have an appaling attitude problem. His sons illness, no matter how sad did not entitle him to distress other chikdren and parents attending the AH.

Perhaps if you had a small child with a similar condition, you may also have an 'attitude problem' where's your empathy !

They'd probably be in that hospital.

You know the one the chavs tried to atrack so I'd probably be quite happy when I could come and go or watch my child sleep without the threat of violence outside th window.

Alfie wasn't the only sick child in Liverpool.

maybe the doctors felt his parents should be focusing on his little life in his last days and not creating a media circus around themselves

other parents would have been caring for dying children too - every day in that hospital


and having to battle through crowds of protesters and a media frenzy


there is always someone going through a tragedy at a children's hospital


and it's usually a child


but these parents have been all about them , their suffering , their injustice , their child


selfishness is an 'attitude ' which doesn't go down well with doctors caring for a dying child

surrounded by staff who care for dying children and their parents every fecking day



these parents should have focused on their child and what was best for him

not them

Perhaps the doctors working at the unit should have training in how to help distressed parents .

The family have had to deal with the coming death of their child ,faulty DNA ,and doctors who seem ,in this case to be unable to calm the parents.

Remember that little boy in Southampton a few years ago who needed focused radiotherapy ? They didn’t want to let him go .One of those parent was not completely of English extraction . They went to the Czech hospital in the end and I think the child survived.

I think the problem is more with the medics and lack of investment in the NHS ....

The money is wasted ..Yesterday someone ,not native ,hurt his hand .He saw the drs and claimed he could not use the hand and carry things . They off reed him £20,000.He became greedy and asked for about £80,000 I think it was .They sent out investigators to see what he was doing and he was working normally .So he. Was committing fraud .

Besides that there was the cost of the court case and the people to investigate .

I think we should stop compensation if people have had free health care .Then if there is a complaint it should be investigated like they look at airplane crashes with the aim of never making the mistake again and if necessary helping the person if they really need it from the SS .

From things I have heard and personal experience I had already wondered if they were selecting psychopaths to train for medicine here .

I have noticed they offen reject perfectly good candidates from uk .This is over about 30 years .....

My husband had cancer and slowly died over about 10 years ....The NHS were very good . He kept collapsing and had to be admitted to hospital many times ....He was very strong and wanted to live ...anyway in one of the later admissions some woman ,not wearing a white coat of subcontinent origin ,who we presumed to be a doctor ,said to my son and I,in front of my sick husband “Do you want him to be resuscitated? I was shocked as this was well into the 10 years and none had mentioned this before .I was very upset and cried all the way home .

The result was I was anxious that they would kill my husband every time he went into the hospital after that ....I complained to our cancer consultant ,I hope they talked to her but for me the damage had been done .

The trust was gone ...

I expect something like this happened to Alrie’s family .....

It is bad doctoring that caused all this ....

It must be really difficult when a young child is slowly dying .

I am grateful it never happened to me ....

The people who work dealing with these things need to think of all the family as in need of special care and treat them very carefully .

Member of the British public thinks some doctors have the attitude problem and need special training in empathy .

I hope never to read about this mishandling of people again ....

I thought Doctors were supposed to be clever ?

It is an indictment of the medics that this went to court ...

It could be that or it could be the shady characters who seem to egg the parents on in this case. The ones who have links to the lobby wanting to privatise the NHS.

It is a sick society out there and it seems to be getting sicker?
