Story of encounter with Bigfoot by Bowhunter

First and foremost I am a bowhunter. I have hunted the big woods of northern Pennsylvania for 20 years and during that time I have heard a few things that I found curious only to dismiss it as bears but the morning if 11-17-17 had changed me forever.
As always I was in my stand an hour before day break after a 30 minute hike to the top of the ridge. It was cold and frosty that morning with no wind, the kind of morning every bowhunter waits for because the rut was on. I wasn't in my stand for 10 minutes when in front, to the north in the thick there was a crack like I've never heard before. I can only describe it as a large branch hitting a tree. And then it happened again and after that silence. 1 minute later I heard a large branch be snapped and then another one 30 yards from the west of the first noise. I sat there frozen not knowing what to do, I was paralyzed. I contemplated getting down and running back to my truck but I knew if I did whatever made those noises could surely catch me so I just sat there. I never heard any footsteps or walking until 20 minutes later something was running torward me from the west. As it got to 10 yards from my stand it stop and I was straining my eyes to see what it was as it was not quite light enough to see. It paused for a few seconds and then left. As it started breaking day I sat there with my hd camera ready to record whatever it could be when and that's when i heard deer walking toward me from the south. 2 doe were coming at me with a big buck hot on their heels. As the does passed below me at 10 yards the buck stopped and stood there sniffing the wind for at least 10 minutes almost as if it was paralyzed. All the deer suddenly spooked and ran off leaving me again wondering what was happening.
I sat there the rest of the day and watched an endless parade of deer pass by me out of bow range. In 30 years of bowhunting I have never seen that many deer in one day. When I got down to leave I notice a strange structure built of logs for which I photographed and didn't know what it was until I started researching bigfoot.
Since that day I try to explain away of what happened that day as another hunter trying to get me out of his spot or a maybe a bear. I know it wasn't another hunter because theres only one road in and I was the first that day and i would've heard someone's approach. And as for a bear, you would need aposable thumbs to hit a branch on a tree or to break large branches. The only thing that's makes sense would be bigfoot.
I am now obsessed with learning more about them and getting hd footage if one. I know there is one where I hunt and I know I have to go solo to have another encounter but I just have to overcome my fear and I'm trying.

I take it Bigfoot has no sense of smell, Is deaf or hard of hearing and has poor eyesight.

Unlike pretty much every other wild animal on the planet ?

Great Story about the Big Hairy Man

In 1967 I was 7 years old. We lived in Alaska. Dad was a flight engineer with the Strategic Air Command. His favorite place to fish was a branch off the Russian River. I remember it pretty well even after all these years. I'm 60 now. It was a five mile walk from the parking area to the spot we always camped at. He told my Mom that it was the only place he felt safe to take us boys during the salmon runs. The brown bears were thick as flies. I remember that my Grandfather was up from West Virginia. I remember the trappers cabin in small clearing at the top of mountain. We were ready to take a break from the hike when my said Bear.. We all froze and looked ware he was looking. Just as he was pulling the pump shotgun from his shoulder a huge brown bear stood up at maybe 50 yards away from behind the trappers cabin. It was taller than the cabin. Just then we heard what sounded like a steam whistle blast from the direction we had come from. The Bear let out a sound like a moan and spun around and stood up looking in that direction when suddenly a giant came running from the tree line running full speed. Arms and legs pumping like a football player. The Bear took off down the mountain like it was on fire. The giant stops at the place the bear had been standing a looks at us. My Dad put the shotgun back on his shoulder and held his hand up. Palm out and told us to do the same. The giant blinked its eyes and nodded at us and slowly walked away up the hill ahead of us. He said let's go and started walking up the trail. I asked him what was that??? He smiled and said.. That's Big Stinky. He won't bother us. But we will see him again at the camp. He told us not to talk about it outside the family. I asked what it was. He said it was a man. Just different than us. Just like black people or Indians look different but were still people. Just different. And that we didn't have to worry about bears as long as he was around. When we got to the camp the first thing he did was open a pack and took out a bag of potatoes and walked over into the trees and put that bag of potatoes on a stump and came back and told us get busy setting up camp. The next time I looked the bag of potatoes was gone. Every evening he would take a few potatoes and some of the bigger fish to the same spot. This is my first memory of the giant man we call Bigfoot. But definitely not the last. My Dad gave them names. He said that there were five living on that mountain. His favorite place to fish. And the safest place for his boys to wander around without having to worry about us getting eaten by bears during the salmon runs..

Re: The Paul Freeman Film : Sasquatch / Bigfoot
Horseback rider catches "baby Bigfoot" drinking water

Had been riding horses with three other friends on the six hour loop trail and stopped for lunch where the outhouse is located at the one day trail junction. We were all sitting at the picnic table having lunch and was hearing much crashing in the brush. Not unusual sounds for there are elk everywhere in the park. We did notice however that a "bear" or something had an awfully good time with the outhouse toilet paper, as it was strung all over the place. We all were sitting there having lunch and I decided that I wanted to go see where the elk were, maybe see a big bull! So I got on my horse and rode down to where I heard the noise and the trail is cut out on an old logging road and a creek crosses through a culvert to the other side of the road and the water forms a small pool before moving on down into the larger creek below.

I could not tell you how long I was sitting there on my horse watching this creature not more than 30' away trying to get a drink of water out of the pool. It was a challenge, as the sides to the pool were fairly steep. At first, I thought it was a man, then a monkey, and at last my brain registered what I was looking at! Then I seen the finger nail, and it was black and human like. I was looking at an adolescent, possibly baby Bigfoot! It never had a chance to turn and to look at me, as the horse I was on kept getting more and more upset the longer that I stayed there.

I ran back on my horse to my friends and told them in a stuttered manner what I had seen! Just by the way I was acting they knew something was up, because I have been in the woods on horseback almost half of my life. The immediately followed me back to the area where I had seen what I described as a young adolescent Bigfoot. My friends did not ever see the creature, but they heard it as it walked away and seen the ferns moving as it rustled through them on its way down the hill to the larger creek. Never heard any sounds from him/her. My friend was going to follow and I cautioned her, because I believe that "Mom" was close by.

The crashing in the brush we heard was not made by the adolescent looking creature, it was made by something much larger. The creature was silver-gray, had medium length hair (like a bear), black human like fingernails, human like hands (I seen its thumb), was totally covered in hair from top to bottom (I never got to see its face, it was always looking down).

I never have told anyone about the sighting and made my friends promise not to say anything for quite a while. I explained that this was a young animal and to allow me to get this close was inexperience. And if I could get that close on a horse, than someone could get that close with a gun! It was not long after that there was a news report about a son and a father seeing a Bigfoot cross the road near Prarie Creek State Park. The news report was within a couple of weeks of my sighting, but still I kept my sighting to myself!

Check out "Scott Carpenters" Youtube channel... he has been filming with a camera looking behind him as he hikes over the years and has caught some interesting images and has a good idea what these things can do...
