You could try that out first and see if you like it since its quicker and cheaper than becoming an RN. If you don't end up liking it you will always have that knowledge to use for yourself. RN might pay higher, but personal trainer is a job with more freedom. And you can eventually work for yourself and charge whatever you want to charge. Listen to the mind pump podcast.
