I Survived A Heart Attack...

I finally decided to come out of the coffin (ha) about this one.

They had to break up the cath procedures to two.

The 100% blockage was last to be dealt with.

They told me it carried an increased risk for death. Before that I was fairly calm. Lol. I was kinda scared after that. Lol. But held steadfast.

If it's ur time to go... it's your time to go. Still. I didn't want to go :)

On Thanksgiving of 2016 I started having significant pain and pressure in my chest. I went to the ER.

After tests... doctors determined I had a moderate heart attack.

So docs sent me to the cath lab and they looked inside my heart.

Turns out I had:

100% Blockage (which was old)
90% blockage
70% Blockage
And FIVE 40% blockages.

After a couple of caths to implant stents I was gave the all clear and released.

The old 100% blockage had bypassed it's self. Which is rare to happen!

Turns out I had at least 5 heart attacks before this one.

The kicker I didn't have any heart damage.

So not only did I survive a 100% blockage... rare! But walked around with it for a year. I had no damage to my heart. I thank Jesus and Bourbon for that. My daily cup of bourbon thinned my blood enough that I didnt die.

I was 31 at the time of the last heart attack and weighed 190 pounds... and I was very active. In case your wondering. I walked 15,000 steps a day on average. This can happen to you at any age. Any fitness level.

I've seen many cardiologist since and got all kinds of different opinions and they all agree. They don't know HOW I am alive.... much less have no damage to my heart. God and Bourbon. God and Bourbon.

When it first happened I thought it was my gall bladdder.

I didn't expect it to be my heart.


But if u ever have pain of any sort in the middle of ur breast bone... and strait through ur back and in ur jar and either arm. Go have that checked out. ..

I am curious as to the cost involved for these procedures sir.

I remember when this happened to you. Terrified all of us. We prayed hard, and God saw fit to continue to bless ud with your wit, gentlemanly charm and presence.

Your experience and wisdom may help others who are in the same place you were, but may be thinking they are too young to have such a health issue.

Doc, for the love of God, man, keep drinking the bourbon and stay the hell away from the cardiologists.

Damn Near it.

I calley them promptly and reminded them I was a heart patient. I got put on hold for five minutes... until... a therapist style persona talked to me. Haha.
