WOW! You are very lucky, or blessed...probably both.

For health reasons, I think we should all drink some bourbon tonight!
 Quoting: right_foot

I think so too. Luck and blessing go hand in hand :)

Blessed are the lucky.

I'm definitely gonna pour a bourbon tonight.

I asked the cardiologist who done my life saving procedures if I should quit drinking bourbon and he said.

"GOOD GOD WHY? It saved your life. You wouldnt be here today if you didn't drink!!!"

Lol. Sound advice doc.

cheers

Very true!

A toast to your good health!

Many thanks. A toast to all our good healths!

According to other stories, the word toast became associated with the custom in the 17th century, based on a custom of flavoring drinks with spiced toast. The word originally referred to the lady in whose honor the drink was proposed, her name being seen as figuratively flavoring the drink.

Lol.

Before my caths. My team of cardiologist that were caring for me were pressuring me about "suprises" and this and that and finally came out and just asked if I did meth or coke... this lasted a couple hours.. cos I finally stablized...

Nope. Never done either. Never had a desire to do coke. And fuck meth.

I don't smoke pot. I drink every now and then.. shit I have at least one drink a day... when ur a Kentuckian u at least have one Bourbon. If you don't you are disrespectful of ur heritage lol. But drugs... naw fuck that.

Good damn thing I was not a druggie thought! I woukd be dead. I got fucked on the genetic lottery. Don't need coke to I crease that risk.

I remember when this happened to you. Terrified all of us. We prayed hard, and God saw fit to continue to bless ud with your wit, gentlemanly charm and presence.

Your experience and wisdom may help others who are in the same place you were, but may be thinking they are too young to have such a health issue.

Glad to hear you’re OK. That’s scary stuff.

They had to break up the cath procedures to two.

The 100% blockage was last to be dealt with.

They told me it carried an increased risk for death. Before that I was fairly calm. Lol. I was kinda scared after that. Lol. But held steadfast.

If it's ur time to go... it's your time to go. Still. I didn't want to go :)
 Quoting: Dr. Acula

I am curious as to the cost involved for these procedures sir.

Re: I Survived A Heart Attack...
On Thanksgiving of 2016 I started having significant pain and pressure in my chest. I went to the ER.

After tests... doctors determined I had a moderate heart attack.

So docs sent me to the cath lab and they looked inside my heart.

Turns out I had:

100% Blockage (which was old)
90% blockage
70% Blockage
And FIVE 40% blockages.

After a couple of caths to implant stents I was gave the all clear and released.

The old 100% blockage had bypassed it's self. Which is rare to happen!

Turns out I had at least 5 heart attacks before this one.

The kicker I didn't have any heart damage.

So not only did I survive a 100% blockage... rare! But walked around with it for a year. I had no damage to my heart. I thank Jesus and Bourbon for that. My daily cup of bourbon thinned my blood enough that I didnt die.

I was 31 at the time of the last heart attack and weighed 190 pounds... and I was very active. In case your wondering. I walked 15,000 steps a day on average. This can happen to you at any age. Any fitness level.

I've seen many cardiologist since and got all kinds of different opinions and they all agree. They don't know HOW I am alive.... much less have no damage to my heart. God and Bourbon. God and Bourbon.

I actually found a good one. His dad died at 30. And it really scared him. Thus why he came a cardiologist. He gives good advice. Which I fact check constantly. H actually serves.

I don't blindly follow. I LOVE the team that saved my life but don't feel like I should follow their advices. My current cardio... he has lead be astray o. The last year. In the end... I am DR. ACULA... and my made up degree reigns supreme rofl

Why was the bill so much? Is that what it would cost anyone who has a heart attack in the US?
