I'd never seen ANYPLACE blurred like that before! BTW - according to him, it's quite a place, full basement all decked out with living quarters - I know, I know, a LOT of homes are like that. But if you look around back, there are several garages, his grandfather built them.....LOTS of storage, for who knows what. He owns all the way back to the next street. Maybe even other houses, as my dad remembered he owned "lots of houses on that block." But their residence is the only one blurred. |

Also, on google earth you can see what a place looked at various times over the years. You can go back a pretty good anount of time in some places. Might be neat to show him how the place has changed over the last 40 years or so. Quoting: VigilantTexan Oh, cool, Texan! But I don't know how to do that! |

Quoting: NOLAangel Check out this Google Earth blog: [link to www.gearthblog.com (secure)] Thanks for that link! THere's a variety of info there. Some people who got blurred on accident and want to unblur (apparently cannot happen until the next time Google takes your picture), some people who don't know who asked for blur, some people who want to be blurred..... |
