People saying it is due to violence in video games dont know what the actual statistics are so I searched for them:

Even still violence in movies is more visceral than fake characters in games. Many movies i wont even watch due to being too violent, games really dont effect me in that way, not to say they should be played by children younger tan what they are ratted for. Even a child knows the ramifications of committing these types of crimes though. My point is if people want to believe video games make people violent that just doesnt seem to be the case when you consider statistically violence is even less prevalent than one or two decades ago.

One thing is true that since most here are adults say over 30 they get the impression of there being more violence due to their own personal awareness of it. Depending on where you grew up, the 70s and 80s were very violent times in most American cities and one can argue more violent than today.

Fairly certain this is shown in actual statistics...though not going to search more than the link provided. As far as these specific events, not going to even guess since not getting paid to.

Why don't they put metal detectors in EVERY SCHOOL, every entrance and exit except for the fire doors that are alarmed.

Put more armed police or security in schools too.

We had metal detectors at my school and there was only one way to get in the school. We also had an actual cop there. And I lived in an upperclass area of Houston.

It would have been damn near impossible to get a long rifle, knives, or a handgun in that school. It also kept some of the drugs out although some people would put them in their socks or in hidden compartments. But you wouldn't be able to get a gun through
