Knights in 6. Normally even as a Pens fan I'd root for the Caps (yeah rivalry but Ovie deserves) but MAF is a great guy. Go Knights.

I figured a lot of Pens fans would still be cheering Fleury on. He's one of those guys where fandom transcends team.

I moved to DC area in 1975, just a month after they finished their first season and have seem way too many heartbreaks and only one Stanley Cup final 20 years ago which they lost. They are due. I'm picking them in seven.

The Knights are an awesome story for a first year expansion team, and I don't take them lightly. Both Fleury and Holtby are playing lights out. Should be a great series.

Hockey players actually have integrity, and dont politicize thier sport like the other A$$holes

Hockey stopped appealing to em when I started to see it being "monkeyed up" by a lot of talentless subhumans , and the game has changed as a result. It used to be such a cool game, football is like a civil war battle compared to the BLITZKRIEG of hockey.

Besides that, hockey is the Bruins and Habs, not the Ducks and the Kings. All these expansion teams in locations like Floriduh and California are destructive to the culture of hockey, which has always been a northern thing played where ponds and lakes freeze over in winter, all the mystique is gone out of it and it's became another basketball.

Maybe, but the most exciting game I ever saw was a Stanley cup final that went scoreless into triple overtime. You don't get hockey, trust me. STick with basketball.

I agree. However, I don't think it was rigged during the Montreal Dynasty. I think the rigging was to prevent it because the Habs Bruins and Flyers winning all the time was putting fans off on places like Washington. It's all about an organization maximizing profits for the whole , a fucking show.

One of the thins I can't help but notice is how the game has been pussified. Most of these guys wouldn't last ten minutes with the 69 Bruins or the 72 Flyers.

I think basketball is boring too. No point in watching until the fourth quarter.

I personally like the light green/stainless steel one with the plastic screw on cap.

The point is if you were a hockey fan and understood the nature of the game you would understand why the most exciting games are scoreless. It isn't supposed to be easy to score, it's supposed to hurt somebody.

I'm not partaking in your data mining poll, but when I saw "knights" listed I had to look up who they were.

When I saw that they were from Vegas I had to look up when that team entered the league.

That's not how sports are supposed to work.

There should be at least be 4 or 5 years where you have to build up your team to become the best. You shouldn't be able to draft players from other teams for the expansion and end up being the best team in the league.

Although I wanted the Caps to win tonight for my buddy - I desperately wanted the Lightning to win, so I could knock out another buddy in the bracket challenge and possibly win the whole thing. Bastard Lightning!
