Hey OP. Pretty sure that's a fox with mange. The darker color on the lower half of the legs give it away.

Chupacabras are not dog-like critters. They are more alien, or reptilian-like. Sometime in the last 10 years or so, for some reason (most likely to spread disinfo) critters with bad cases of mange have been called chupacabras.

I’ve got a 2 year degree in Fisheries and Wildlife and I know mange, it does not look like that. Plus foxes have shorter tails.

I spent last year w/ a den on my property, I'm used to seeing fox. This doesn't slink along like a fox moves, low to the ground.
