Interesting. I always wondered what the X-37 was doing up there during its long deployments, and thought perhaps it had could have some groundbreaking military use that could influence enemies to stand down.

ths X-37 is a joke. they would never admit the existence of what state of the art tech they have is flying around.

for example. the stealth fighter was FLYING in the 1970s. It's existence wasn't acknowledged until the 90s when it was already obsolete.

And there were much more advanced shit flying before that that you will never know about.

when you hear of those stories where a high level officer in one of the lesser agencies is told to keep their mouth shut about what they just seen, for example, and air force pilot chasing down some strange craft, whats really going on is that they are performing a mental operation/ recruiting tactic on said high ranking official...some of them get recruited, others are kept under watch for their reaction...the left hand doesn't see what the right hand is doing...its all protocol.

you are 100% correct. Space is the USN's domain while the USAF applies their resources to low earth orbit and normal aviation missions. However both domains of course do overlap in low earth orbit. the article i posted is grossly off with detail. But the main jist of it has a lot of merit and actually the systems deployed in bringing down the missiles shot at Hawaii mentioned in the article could be the air force or an old school navy aegis system.

You bet your ass its obselete.. Back in 2010 I got into night vision sky viewing.. I live right on the U.S border.. I saw something that looks like an f 117 but smaller, it flew from the northern horizon to southern horizon in about 7 seconds.. Now imagine when you see a 747 cruising at 30k ft how long it takes to go from horizon to horizon.. I had video of it but it was so high up there you could just barely make out the shape and it was blurry as fk. cuz it was moving so fast.. And I bet that tech is obselete even now, whatever it was.. It was heading into northern michigan or somewhere south..
