Who here has had sleep paralysis?
Just gathering information here, but I have heard stories.

Want to know what others experienced.

Before my experience I never heard of sleep paralysis. I was waking from a nap and this "shadow" being was standing over me. The fear wasn't that I couldn't move, it was this "thing" standing over, seemed to be made of a dense black smoke the was swirling, and it was just looking down at me. I'm a grown ass adult and was at the time this happened, it scared the shit out of me.

This wasn't a nightmare, I can always turn them into lucid dreams- wasn't like that. My "consciousness" rolled around while in body to face this "thing". This was only 4 years ago, I was 32 at the time. Put it this way, after this I slept with a night light on for 2 weeks- that's how afraid I was.

Then I read so many stories of others experiencing sleep paralysis and it's the SAME THING- some shadow figure. Tell you stories, I want to hear them.

Re: Who here has had sleep paralysis?
I once had a recurring dream from my childhood and I ended up waking up in the middle of it with a shadow figure standing over me and I was unable to move. She was staring me down, it was kinda creepy.

Re: Who here has had sleep paralysis?
I only experienced this one time in my late 20s. Woke up with sleep paralysis, frozen, saw a black figure look at me and when it realized I noticed it, it jumped out the window. It was more like it was scared of me.

I've experienced more sleep paralysis, but only the black figure or shadow figure one time.

Re: Who here has had sleep paralysis?
ive had SP since i was born...at age five i was so frustrated about it that i asked my mother why it kept happening.
she said i was overtired, whatever that means.
none of my four other sisters or parents experienced it so it was always something i had to endure in silence.

it happens as im going to sleep NEVER upon waking.
i hear the sound, this high pitched sound and i know i have a split second to rouse myself.
if i can move my finger, then i know i can break it.
ive only been successful a couple of times in all of these years.
its painful, literally hurts my entire body.
i scream as loud as i can but no sound comes out.
i cannot changed anything, my breathing or moving.
i have to give in, there is not enough strength in the world to fight back.
then the black hole comes...im sucked in.

it doesnt seem to happen when i sleep on my side but frankly i dont pay attention anymore.
i just let it happen, still scream and try to fight but no one understands and i dont think anyone really cares.

im 47 and it still happens.
my five children are all abductees and i think they have taken scoop marks from my husband and children.
i see the marks happen over the years plus i hear their dreams.

i dont like it, this SP.its just so painful and frightening.
to this day i have no memory of where i go when it happens.
im afraid to know.

Re: Who here has had sleep paralysis?
I had it once.

Woke up, sat up on my bed only to see and feel myself still lying down. Then I fell back into my body but I could not move, not even to breathe more. I was panicking and tried to move my arm and tried to shout, but I only heard myself grunt a little. Then I was back with a jolt and woke up and sat right up immediately.

Very scary.

Re: Who here has had sleep paralysis?
I had it all my life since I can remember. I have gotten older now and it seems to have stopped. I always seen the Grays over me doing stuff but I couldnt move. My Mom had it but not as often as me.Sometimes it started as a buzz in my head. Always very frighting.

Focus, do not close your eyes or even blink, or you will return to a laying down position.

Re: Who here has had sleep paralysis?
What I mean is, on four different occasions I kind of fended off.

Forgive on cell.

1) As a teen, had delay because of snow so went back to sleep. Immediately, I "woke up", but couldnt move. I felt the bed shake and something underneath. I became worried and put my all into moving but could not. Said our Father prayer and I broke free. I ran into another room but still had trouble moving. I leaned against the bed in the room while sitting on the floor. The door was slightly open and I seen a short brown grey thing looking at me. It had beady black eyes, and when it smiled it had many, way more then people, small fang like teeth. I then woke up for real.

2) Was taking nap on couch awoken but could not move. I felt threatened so focused my will to a fine point. Was adult. I learned I could move but when I so much as blinked I returned to the original position. After willing myself up, I ran for the door to go outside as there was a threatening unseen presence in the house. As I reached outside, something hit me in the head that was hiding behind the Bush. I then woke up for real

3) "Woke up" and couldn't move. Something, pulsating but unseen, was raping me. I felt a sexual pulsating that felt highly pleasurable in a purely physical way. It was wrong. I resisted, focused on "pushing away" that "feeling" using my "aura"/shield. After it was pushed away I woke up for real.

4) Couldnt move after waking up. Could hear and feel the electric noise of their craft at a distance. I sensed them at the back door. Fear, terror filled me. I could not speak, even my minds voice was silenced. Normally I can think in my mind and even speak in my own mind as I know my own inner voice.

MY OWN INNER VOICE WAS SILENCED!

A far greater level of fear and terror filled me. For the first time in my life, I invoked Jesus Christ.

At first I couldn't say it, then my inner voice was freed. At a hoarse whisper, I begged Christ to protect me. Then my inner voice grew louder until it was no longer an inner whisper.

It, mine, was a highly pathetic inner voice. After I was able to use my vocal cords, it was not like I "woke up", I "dozed up". I could freely move, but could still hear there craft. As I chanted "Jesus Christ protect me", the craft moved steadily away.

Even though it left, I continued to chant until daybreak.

Afterwards, even going out at night did not cause me any fear. It has been a couple years and nothing bad haapened.

Moved recently, dead nephelum/Earth spirit kind of haunts my house. First night there, awoke and could feel something standing at the doorway just looking at me. No malevolance detected. My cat sometimes tries to attack it, then runs away. Entity is terrified of me, and causes no trouble so out of mercy I ignore it as the dark and terrible day is soon.

Entity leaves my mom alone who is devout, she does not think the place is haunted. It screws with a siblings spouse royally. The spouse is an enemy of God. Type who smiles about going to hell. Things of spouse always goes missing when they visit, even stuff I borrow from them seems to be "fair game".

Few times when "cares of this world", suffering of others, painful prophecy* cause me to feel frustrated, borderline anger towards God, it heads for the hills, as those tend to be some of the more intense convos with God.

Similar to Jonah's anger and frustration, but in reverse. Out of sorrow for my people, as prophecy is so harsh, it brings me to tears, and I lose sight of the restoration and redemption that will follow.

Re: Who here has had sleep paralysis?
I like sleep paralysis, I have dealt with shadow people, demons and other strange creatures that seem to manifest in this focus state.

What I came to realize was that I was in a type of false-awakening aka a dream and those manifestations were fears that my subconscious was projecting. How I know this is that I am quite adept at thinking in dream context and deconstructed them in to hypnagogic mesh like structures until dissolved entirely.

Every single person who sleeps gets it every single night.

Just some notice it, by becoming conscious a little to early.
