I will get more example to teach you to write and read in curve so when you get an old cursive writing and, yes you really do need to learn to write it and read it.

You can buy cheap marked tablets, paper that old fashion thing to write on. The lead pencils are a must with erasers and light and dark lead, the light for beginning learning, easier to erase, I can attest to this fact.

Anyone who wants to learn to read cursive should start with learning to write it, then reading comes natural as you understand how the words you already know is written. Not only will you be able to read, you would have gain a skill others in the past made into an art form. To master cursive is a high skill, not everyone writing skills are the same, but learn the way it done and doing it, makes reading a breeze.

All the words are just shaped different and some not so much, they just join together to form words and faster than printing form.

I wish I could do some for you live but I am not set up for teaching live in any form.

I will check with Youtube and see if they have one there, it seems everything else is there so maybe a course in cursive writing is there. You can do this at your own pace, learning it because you want to learn it, no one can make you, nor should they. It can be fun to learn this, and see what others for centuries did. If thing break down for some unknown reason you can communicate in hand writing. Of course with it not being taught anymore it maybe code to others who can not learn or did not learn it to read it. See always a bright side, code in the written word.

I putting this here because someone mentioned they could not read cursive writing, and it made a light go off. If you ever want to read hand written journals of long ago, you would not be able to do so, nor could you read the writing of George Washington letters to Thomas Jefferson which are in the Archive of the library of Congress and many founding document written in cursive hand writing.

I did not know some loony in the education field decided that this was a skill not needed, for many reason it is needed. As I stated above, founding documents, reading the first ones and how they came about is important to the founding of this Republic or any countries who used English cursive hand writing and maybe other languages.

I not wrong on this subject, it not just and old writing form not needed now, you need to know how to write it so you can read it.

Of course some find it harder than others to make beautiful hand writing, but you can do good enough with practice and think of it as graphics it will make it easier.

I do tend to forget words and even see them as I go back over what I write so forgive if words are missing, it a crazy thing I have along with writing things backwards.

Yes there are many Youtube teaching of cursive writing and many to learn from, even in German.

While I am writing this, I remember a group of people who used to have problems writing cursive, the left handed people. They always tried to turn their hand to write from above. If you are left handed, turn your paper to a comfortable slant and this will improve you writing skills. I can write with both hands and not a good with my left but fair. I just turn the paper to a comfortable slant works.

I am sorry to say I have become sloppy with hurry at my age but if I take my time I can still write fairly well.
