Observe:
- Presently we are in summer and near the summer solstice for the northern hemisphere.
- Note the sinusoidal shape of the areas of the earth in darkness and daylight.
- Note that the further north you go, the longer the daytime and the further south you go the longer the nighttime. The reverse will be true in winter near the winter solstice.
- Note this shape of the daytime/nighttime areas of the earth are found by direct measurement of the time of sunrise and sunset at the various location around the earth.

Flat earthers: Please explain how and why a flat earth would produce an earth with areas of light/daytime and shade/shadow/nighttime as measured.
The only explanation for this shape of daytime/nighttime areas is a spherical earth.
