I always always always knew that Solomon had 300 wives and 700 concubines. I have joked for years about him having 300 mother-in-laws. Now today, my own copy of the KJV says 700 wives and 300 concubines. I bought that book in 1975 and have had it over 40 years.

I asked a 75 year old pastor how many wives Solomon had, his first answer was 300. We checked all the Bibles on hand (different versions) they all said 700 now.

1Ki 11:3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.

what gives??????
