HA! I knew it....

I'd recommend an on=board copy of Chapmans Piloting and Seamanship on every craft where the Captain is the only one that knows how to sail.
Gives the crew something to learn and do in case of emergencies and things that can come up offshore.

Interesting, Deep Cove must have changed a lot in a bit over a year - does not look as I remember. Who did you tug for, if I may ask?

If I was 30 years younger, I would have jumped on this. Not an experienced sailor but a great cook. But, I'm also a woman, so there's that. In my younger days I was adventurous and stupid but very fortunate that I did not die! This sounds Great! Bon Voyage and I suggest you bring someone who can videotape it. Trip of a Lifetime! What happens if you get lost at sea from a boom vang failure and your rapidly sobering crew has no clue how to come about and look for you? What if you throw a rod and blinded by hot oil or hot coolant, whos gonna sail you back home or are you going to call in a salver and run up a 200,000 dollar salvage fee?
Nobody should go to see with landlubbers without any back up of the rules of the sea.
