Carr Fire Bearing Down on CIty of Redding, Pop 92,000. Bad situation.

The local TV station, krcr-tv has gone to wall-to-wall coverage (which never happens in this area) Scary and fast moving fire, many evacuations and buildings burned already. Lots of power outages—about to shut off power to all of North Redding.

They had an evacuation center set up at the local high school, then they needed to evacuate that as well. Over 29,000 acres already burned, virtually no containment. It was l113 degrees in Redding today; tied a record.
