Quoting: SalvioDiTuna I've been eating a lot of steamed salmon and vegetables lately. The salmon is of course farm raised, and purchased frozen from WalMart. This sucks. No worries, brother. Just drink more water and 3 times a day with fresh lemon and apple cider vinegar in it, and it should help you with detoxing some crap out. If you can manage on a weekend or day you don't work, wake up but dont' eat a thing and go work out, play basketball or do something that will make you sweat a LOT. The more you do these things the more toxins will be released through sweat & eventually urine as well |

And even healthy food stores like WholeFoods and Central Market only sell 'fresh' salmon that has been dyed with red food coloring! [link to www.integrativenutrition.com (secure)] Much of the natural pink color of Salmon is result of minerals in its tissues. They have to dye farmed salmon because it has little to no nutrients, and thus, has no color. Last Edited by Layers of Reality on 07/27/2018 12:52 PM |

I wouldn't be too down about it, compared to the quantities of toxins we absorb just being outside & breathing air/drinking tap & bottled water, a couple meals aren't going to detriment you. We live & learn, right? Being down about the past yields no positive results :) But I can see you were super happy about the salmon, as i would be too! There ARE 'wild caught' salmon sellers around!! |

Quoting: SalvioDiTuna NO DOUBT! I've only ever had fresh fish a few times in my life, and I can say for sure that canned fish has NOTHING on wild caught fish. Everything about it is better (unless you miss a small bone that jabs your gums lol) |
