User ID: 76700435 United States 08/04/2018 03:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I’m headed to work right now, so I will add more to this later. However something stinks. I just was watching the press conference with the parents. Quoting: Esoterica Not only did neither of them not show any emotion whatsoever, which is possible if they are in shock, still strange, but they were way too structured, and lacking any empathy whatsoever on camera. They also kept praising the media , Making sure people knew they thought the media was incredible. Does anybody else find that strange? I will get back on here for the discussion in about an hour, just want to hear your thoughts. Thanks! Ps, I would be inconsolable if my child were missing. And again, people react differently to stressful situations but this just seems odd to me. Be back soon! Some loose ends: > Who last saw Mollie alive? Neighbor Nate Howood saw her on West Pershing Drive at 7:30 pm, July 18 (source: [link to www.dailymail.co.uk] ) > Dogs locked in basement (??) According to the mother, the two dogs which included a pit-bull lab mix, were "locked in the basement". > Red shirt Mom says Mollie had two (2) red work shirts, but that they were both found in her room. It remains unclear if the red shirt found at the hog farm is Mollie's. >Where did Mollie work? This summer it was at daycare center, at the Grinnell Medical Center.... ....which was 15 minutes away from the house. Who else lived 15 minutes away? Old Wayne Cheney. But here's my new stumbling point: the dogs!! Yes, it's possible Mollie locked up the dogs, whom she was ostensibly there to look after, in the basement. Doubtful. Who DID put the dogs down there-- where they couldn't protect Mollie? This, I believe, may be crucial to understanding what happened. Hope this helps, GLP. Pray for Mollie. Edit: More dog thoughts Nobody said anything about the condition of the dogs. If they had been killed, maimed, etc., in addition to being found "locked" in the basement. IF they were (and police aren't saying), THAT would indicate an intrusion/abduction inside the domicile. Which, has not been confirmed yet. If the dogs were found unharmed, that still begs the question WHO locked the protective dogs down there, and WHY? Possible scenario: Truck pulls over side of road by house, turns hazards on. Man knocks on door, says, "Yeah my truck broke down, can I use your [whatever]?" and then, say, uses a taser to subdue victim quickly and silently. Silently--- what about the dogs? The MIGHT allow Mollie to open the door to a stranger, after barking to alert his presence. They MIGHT even be calm while he talks with her. But if an act of physical violence or intimidation (or even picking up on the subconscious fear cues of Mollie) were to occur, I cannot believe two loyal large dogs would not rip the living throat out of an attacker. And yet..... the dogs were in the basement. Did that happen before, or after, say, 7:30 PM? Did stalker, who had been watching her, wait for her to leave on the run, then enter the dwelling (which was admittedly NOT locked or secured- source: BF) then somehow get the dogs in the basement? Possibly. Hell, throw a hunk of meat down there, or use some kind of pepper spray on the dogs, I don't know. But someone put the dogs down there, at some point that evening. I do not believe Mollie put the dogs in the basement. I do not believe she locked the basement door. But somebody did. Last Edited by Wharf Rat on 08/04/2018 03:45 AM ~Wharf Rat |

User ID: 20396732 United States 08/04/2018 08:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The video on which the following comments were posted was just a re-hash of info we already know, versus these posts: Former Iowa rez here. Ohio. I-80 was a major corridor for drugs back in the 70s and 80s, and probably before that. It wouldn't be surprising if it's now used for sex trafficking.. Drugs were run mostly by mafia I know first hand as a guy in 7th grade--early 80s--his dad was busted for drugs. The DEA even removed their house's window frames and found bricks of cocaine! The dad worked for Chicago mobsters. Never saw our classmate again, neighbors said they moved in the middle of the night with the FBI guarding them, and there's zero records under the family name. No court records either, as the dad was hit with a slew of federal charges. We're sure they got put in the witness protection program. It'd be interesting to see the numbers of missing kids/young adults around I-80 that remain unresolved. I feel it's someone she knew. Why were her brothers even suspected in the first place?? Isn't that odd? They think she returned to the bf's house after her jog, they looked at her fitbit data. Fitbit, if she kept it on, would also tell authorities if/when she was attacked according to increased heart rate/pulse. They haven't released any info about that publicly. Fitbit data helped convict a murderer IIRC in Australia as it proved the time of death, and the murderer provided a different timeline. They almost always look at family and friends first, as statistically they're most likely to be involved. Once those people are cleared police will move on to other potential suspects. I know they look at family/partners first; but to come out and say the brothers were cleared sounded flat out weird. Usually it's 'we can rule out her boyfriend and immediate family after investigating them'. Instead of saying "Her brothers were cleared." So does that leave her parents? Just weird. The area is vast, Iowa has a smaller population than Ireland but is more than 4 times bigger. So hard to govern such a huge area, so many places to hide. Most of the time, the sex traficking is here in North America. It's more difficult to ship a person overseas but not impossible. Shipping containers and some bribed dock staff or owned docks goes a long way. Organized crime is a bitch. 51 people that go unsolved out of almost 8000 is still an incredibly high number. Under 20 you could chalk it up to a serial killer I suppose but they don't exactly pop up all that often and when they do, the ones that wind up successfully killing a high number do it over the course of many years, not in just one. Besides, all these missing people that when unsolved, are young and mostly female. Last Edited by NotStarvingActress on 08/04/2018 08:26 AM |

Then I am shown things around the person. Been doing it since childhood. Used to be good at it with practice, now I'm rusty. Only about 75% accuracy I think. Quoting: Mother May I Not sure if these kinds of details help you, but: >Last seen wearing pink sports bra, shorts, and running shoes (7:30 PM, July 18) These items have not been recovered-- suggesting she may have still been wearing them when she disappeared. >What was her jogging M.O.? About 45 minute circuit, traversing "pretty trails and rural cornfields" before always returning before sunset. > According to the mother, Mollie lived very close by to her family home (Mom, and brothers Scott, 17, and Jake, 21). How close? So close she often walked there from her BF's house I don't believe it was an 'inside job', but if it were, a family member I suppose could have easily walked there. > The dogs After seeing a picture of the two medium-to-large dogs that Mollie was dog-sitting....holy cow. They are pretty big, scary looking (i.e., protector-type) mofos. One is a boxer breed, the other is a pit-bull Labrador mix. Check out the picture of the dogs in this article: [link to www.dailymail.co.uk] The mother believes Mollie did not return from her run. She says this because the dogs were always upstairs in the house proper when anybody was home. Mollie would always make sure the dogs were by her side. Instead they were found locked in the basement, update: unharmed, and did not appear agitated or distressed (see above article). Also, the fact that her pink sports bra, shoes, gold colored iPhone & shorts were not recovered. Hope any of this stuff helps! ~Wharf Rat |

Women are murdered when they are pregnant because the man isn't ready to settle down, they think she was fooling around, he doesn't want his life to change drastically, he doesn't want to commit, they feel controlled by the woman, he wasn't expecting to have a baby so soon, they don't want to give up their playboy lifestyle. And they think women are expendable. Lacy Peterson. Ray Caruth's girlfriend. Rae Lamar Wiggins (street name: Rae Carruth) was found in a trunk of a car, with bottles of urine, and candy bars. So I agree, yes, a baby would have interfered with his lifestyle choices. (Source: "Carruth turns up in trunk at motel". Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. December 16, 1999.) ----- However, in this case, this thread (which is about the still missing Mollie Tibbits), not a single source indicates she may have been pregnant. Not the police, not the family, not even Mollie herself ever mention to anybody that she was pregnant. Devil's advocate: Suppose she was pregnant? Say she took a test, and it came back positive. Suppose she was nervous, because BF didn't want children (MissCleo's motive for the BF). Who would she tell first? Would she keep it a secret from her best girlfriends? (doubtful) Keep it a secret from her own mother? (maybe) But if she was scared about, IDK, being killed for being pregnant, why on earth would she only tell the one man who she fears might break up with her/abduct her? In my opinion, IF she was pregnant, she would have told somebody. A friend, her doctor, her girlfriends, a trusted family member, etc. Or, perhaps the pregnant Mollie was planning on telling her family after her evening jog...on the hottest night of summer....alone. Yeah, sounds like a pregnant woman. So, unless the boyfriend is pulled out of a trunk with candy bars and piss jugs, like Rae Wiggins/Carruth, I think this is all a false trail. Respectfully. According to the mother, the two dogs which included a pit-bull lab mix, were "locked in the basement". Mollie puts dogs in basement so the person can use the phone without dogs barking, then he deploys the taser. Your theory is solid, he just played nice guy long enough for her to put the dogs away. Once the dogs are in basement THEN His real motive is shown OU8122 |
