Let the elected officials that were voted in by the people of Chicago either ask for help or solve the problem themselves. If the mayor, city council, police department, ward politicians, reverends, etc. of Chicago can't solve the problems they created, and they won't admit that the problem lies with their policies, then let it burn around them. Why save them from themselves? Sending in Federal troops would only open up a direct pipeline for the Chicago Crooks to ask for and get MORE Federal Dollars to steal. Now, if the Federal Troops are allowed to lock/load, and shoot to kill criminals - then that is a different story, but that will never happen!

Let the Governor send in the Army Guard or Air National Guard that his under his jurisdiction. Its his state, his damm mess, and why should a young man that might be from Georgia possibly be injured or even killed in that shit hole state because they let it get out of control.

My mother worked at Cook County Hospital on the west side all during the Sixties, Seventies, and part of the Eighties, in the communications department. She took the shooting calls, and came home to tell us that "people are killing each other." even back then. Yes, this has been a growing problem that was nearly never reported by the newspapers until recently. Police brutality was also not reported very much.
