Ok, here's my solution. Let's do exactly what the Democrats did. Lets do NOTHING to help them, and instead coordinate with groups that funnel tons of weapons and ammo into the black neighborhoods just like Rahm Emanuel did (this is common knowledge in Chicago). Let them shoot it out to the last goon standing and then throw him in jail.

Kudos to OP for caring about other humans and wanting to do something about the violence, but, let's think this through...

You are proposing to send mostly white National Guard units to Chicago to deal with mostly black-on-black violence. All of Chicago would have interactions with NG members but only one segment would have negative interactions.

When the first black Chicagoan is hurt/killed in such a negative interaction, what happens?

1. NG is pulled out in response to cries of racism AFTER turning Chicago into a powder keg of anger/rage

2. Chicago descends into chaos, mass rioting, and unchecked violence.

3. ???


#2 is the present course IMHO but NG deployments would accelerate that schedule. Right now Chicago has the perception of normalcy. So OP is proposing they go from "normal" to "racist jackboots on the street." (I know that isn't reality but it's the perception)

The solution is to rebuild the black family, black institutions, economic mobility (in progress by Trump), and restore the right to keep and bear arms so that decent men/women can start to clean up the community. This can be done without endangering civil liberties. It can done in spite of Democrats doing the opposite.

Rahm admitted part of the problem, but he is the other part, thus he can't advocate for real solutions. The demoralization of black folks in America was purposefully done by Democrats to own their votes. We need to do the opposite, or at least advertise to black America, that they can be successful when they reject Liberals.

It would be best for the President to not step in with Federal action......that would not sit well with the population and would set forth a bad precedent that could be used later.

Nothing would change. It's not the law abiding that's involved here. 99.999999999999999999999 % of the shootings are done by people that already have illegal guns shooting at others who have illegal guns. Best way to solve this is to ring the bad area with National Guard, let the elderly out, drop pallets of ammo in and let the problem solve itself. Bring a collection truck in after a week (like the Purge) and clean up the mess.

The "illegal guns" and criminals are given a monopoly on violence when the people are disarmed. This is the imbalance that is Chicago.

Black men/women should be armed, like all other Americans. They should be protecting their families with threat of force. The natural consequence is a disincentive to commit crime.

This is why areas that have high rates of gun ownership are the safest. It is also why Liberals disarm people, so they lack the ability to oppose state violence.

There should be US Constitutional amendment (in addition to 2A) to mandate Castle Doctrine and Stand Your Ground nation wide, incorporated against every Libtarded Shithole in this country!

This is a good question, but WE CANNOT SEND FEDERAL TROOPS unless requested by the state legislature. If the state legislature is not in session, we then have to have a request from the Governor of that state.

The President cannot simply send federal troops. It's against our Constitution.

No matter how crazy and out of control Chicago may be, we need to remember that there are still good people there, kids, innocent folks that need help.

I think that sending in "the troops" would be a step in the wrong direction, because it could blossom into a big ugly disaster and lead to more bad news.

Maybe the right thing to do, is to allow folks there the same rights as the folks in Oklahoma, or Vermont, or Kansas.

Let the good folks arm themselves so that they can at least fight back. At least they'd have a chance then.
