Like GI always easy way to wreak terror. I reserve the right to declare my comments and posts as satire. Nothing I post should be considered or interpreted as advocacy for illegal activity. User ID: 76619872 France 08/11/2018 07:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | q-400s are pretty easy to fly, especially for a mechanic who knows his way around the glass. Actually, what I'm reading is that this is a fairly difficult airplane to fly... it's long and you basically have to cut the power to land it yes you have to take in to account that it is the Dash-8 stretch so there is extra length in the fuse, but it doesn't change the landing profile significantly. It can be slippery in the air, but no more than most modern aircraft that will either decelerate or descend, but not at the same time :) It is all about energy management. You just cut the power in the flare like any other airliner and she will be happily spooling down as you find the tarmac. I had to put significant hours in the q400 ahead of writing training tutorials for the q400 sim for both domestic magazines and for Bombardier's own training manuals and spent some months with Bombardier and lost count of the number of touch and goes and circuits. Are you going to address thousands of fooled, naive people here or do you think this cointelpro mission is gonna to go still? Tell us, please. |
