I know that this sounds really odd but it does send me to sleep/put me out cold fairly quickly. By the way, when you have been doing this for a while(weeks/months) you get to see all sorts of things. Another is a mantra that I used in conjunction with breathing. Check out Depak Chopra meditations. And almost the last suggestion: with your very active mind, imagine it is a mouse running on a mouse wheel, let it run and when you have had enough of it running, tell it, its time to get off your wheel of fun and sleep, here is where you imagine a wonderful comfortable bed, one suitable for a tired mouse, now you imagine/see your tired exhausted mouse dragging himself off the wheel and collapsing in its wee bed and instantly sleeping. Last suggestion: check your magnesium levels as being low in magnesium can affect the quality of your sleep. Sleep well. AdorableLittlepixie I am safe and protected with every step I take with everybody always. |

Quoting: Some Jackass I've suffered from insomnia basically my entire life. My body could be beyond exhausted, but my brain never quiets down. I'll just toss and turn in bed and think, think, think. Then I grab 2-4 hours of actual sleep, then the cycle starts again. It sucks sometimes, especially if I have a long day ahead of me. But that's good, as I'll just crash out when I hit the bed. But then 4 hours later, I'm awake again. Right now it's ok for me because I'm away from work for the month but it really sucks when I have to work. That's what I do all night too...toss and turn. I can't imagine having this your whole life. It's just been the past year for me. Adapt and overcome. I used to drink myself into a coma to get sleep, but that just makes it worse. I eventually gave that up. Just woke up one day and said no more. Now I accept it as a part of what makes me who I am. |

Last suggestion: check your magnesium levels as being low in magnesium can affect the quality of your sleep. Sleep well. Hmm I will try those. I tried the first one after I read it and it felt relaxing so that's a positive sign. I do have magnesium but I usually forget to take it. |

One woman I play it with gets it on her phone. Not boring, very intellectually challenging, like verbal chess "It's a friendly friendly world" (Andy Kaufman) Calm seas do not a sailor make, Nor easy horses, a horseman. In my experience, there's nothing like GRATITUDE to put you in a state of mind where you're more receptive to whatever comes next; be that sleep, some specific action you want to take, letting go, shifting your thinking etc etc. I hope you find the peace you deserve And Bless your Dad.... If I woke up naturally I would not want to knock my self back out, since I had enough sleep to wake up in the fist place, having more sleep added artificially to my sleep I had would only depress my metabolism and mind. The most precious things are the simple things in life, always present in the simplest of minds. |

When I cut out all white sugar I sleep like a baby. I fall asleep in twenty minutes. When I cheat and have a candy bar, even during the afternoon, I cant sleep most of the night Some people are sensitive to white sugar |

Falling over the fense, running into the fense, being clueless about what to do at the fense, before you know it your sheep will be doing the wierdest funniest things that will have you laughing you head off at your own thoughts. It will help you relax and then fall asleep. I imagine mine looking these guys [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] ICUCME |

My dependency on pills to sleep has gotten to a dangerous level. I've fought them so hard over the years, all sorts of methods to get off them, the insomnia hits, so I end up back on them. Will be on them for life I guess. |

How do you solve a problem?
User ID: 76795241 United Kingdom 08/11/2018 04:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Valerian root if you are desperate . I usually fall asleep praying....no valerian . You can get a spray from France to put on the pillows.... essential oils . There is one if you are congested and another if you cannot sleep . Some people are unable to sleep chronically . I sleep better if I have been physically active in the day .. Many of us now are not active enough physically .. |
