But to an extended weather related event (tornado, hurricane, etc) where ATMs, card/computer networks, etc are down for a region for several days to several weeks while storm damage recovery takes place. How much cash should one keep on hand for emergencies? And in which denominations? Is having mostly $1s, $5s, and $10s better than $20s, $50s, and $100s. Asking for a friend.
