Quoting: Feistylorax There is 4 of them, though they may not have had the tech to specify depth before the 70's. Where the deeps happen doesn't mean squat....its where they're going to manifest on the surface. From af nuke cop brother i picked up "nothing means much at all until deep, medium and shallows all occuring at the same place" also, dutch is not adjusting his times to match the earth. Maybe a "week" later a year or two ago? Now 24-48 hours because of changes. So I doubt this is the "big one"..?...but it was a doozie "Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind" Covid, fake riots, communist organizers - keep your powder dry America. This was not the disease or the riots, those both are still on down the line. Garden garden grow spices and medical plants too. User ID: 73652332 United States 08/19/2018 12:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Over on the earthquake cam that I've been watching from Cali-they believe that today's quake in Fuji, which just had another quake of 6.8 is odd because of the depth, and the proximity of where it took place. They are talking as if this quake actually shifted the entire Pacific plate. My only disagreement is that it, while a very strong quake, did not create a Tsunami and did not provide the necessary thrust and collapse to generate a Tsunami. this being the case was a case where it might have been a strike slip putting pressure on another area of the region but not the entire plate around the ring of fire. User ID: 73652332 United States 08/19/2018 01:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I just read where it's normal for quakes of this mag in the region-2/3rds of all quakes in the pacific apparently take place in this region. The depth is fairly normal but what isn't normal is the sheer number. In my readings I found out there are two types, either a thermal or plastic sheer. Which would go with the comment above that these are slab movements. Im still reading. I appreciate the comments. To me quakes are really funny because they are so different in every area. This energy is now spreading up & out from the focus & is likely affecting other locations in the area. Around 30 mins ago a mag 6.3 hit Indonesia's Lombok & now mag 6.8 has hit the Fiji region again ELINT News@ELINTNews 25m25 minutes ago #UPDATE: Depth of Lombok mag 6.3 earthquake 35 mins ago is very shallow, focus is approx 7.9km below surface, damage likely. This comes after weeks of multiple earthquakes in Lombok, including one 2 weeks ago that killed over 400 people ELINT News@ELINTNews 10m10 minutes ago #UPDATE: Since the mag 8.4 in Fiji over 4 hours ago, there have been 4-5 mag 5.0+ earthquakes around Fiji and now this new 6.8 mag near Fiji (very deep- estimated focus depth of 420km, still considerably shallower than the 559km deep 8.2 mag 4 hours ago though) [link to twitter.com (secure)] Ostria |
